Juanita’s Restaurant is a small Mexican/Salvadoran restaurant in Derwood, Maryland, conveniently located beside the Shady Grove Metro station. Even though it is a small restaurant, it is big in personality.
The owner, Juana, always strives to serve the best traditional home-cooked meals in the area, and in my opinion, she does just that. Her typical Mexican and Salvadoran dishes never cease to surprise me, as they are so rich in flavor, they always leave my palate wanting more.
Furthermore, when you go, not only do you get to enjoy a fresh home-cooked meal, you also get to experience excellent customer service as her team members and herself make sure you feel welcome and comfortable in their establishment.
