Baby Found in Trash

A very disturbing event took place at an Amazon facility in Phoenix, Arizona. An anonymous tip reported a dead baby found in trash. Phoenix police took the call last night around 8:30 pm. The infant girl had been located in the trashcan of a women restroom.

First responders arrived but pronounced her dead at the scene.

Amazon’s spokesperson, Lauren Lynch stated,

“This is a terribly sad and tragic incident. We are working with local authorities to support their investigation. The safety and wellness of our team is our top priority.”

According to Vincent Lewis of the Phoenix Police public information department,

“It appeared to first responders that the baby was full term, or close to that.”

The mother of the baby has been located. The investigation is pending however and as a result the police have declined to release her information at this time.
